ECD.EXE V. 1.1
----------------------------------------------------------------
This command allows to easily sail in directories, and launch
programs. If you call ECD from within a program you may give as
parameter the return screen mode number, for example 18 for VGA
high resolution.
The directories are shown at left of the screen. The arrow that
follow a directory name indicates sub-directories into.
Directory commands:
- Up/Down cursor keys: change directory.
- Left cursor keys: go to the parent directory.
- Right cursor key: display child directories.
- CTRL-left: go to first directory name on screen.
- CTRL-right: go to last on screen.
- CTRL-HOME: return to top of root directory.
Files command:
- PgUp: select previous file.
- PgDown or SPACE BAR: next file.
- CTRL-PgUp: previous page of screen.
- CTRL-PgDown: next page of screen.
- HOME: first file in directory.
- END: last file in directory.
General commands:
- ESCAPE: return to Iconshell, without directory change.
- c: change to selected directory and return to
Iconshell or DOS.
- ENTER: run program whose name is selected.
- A..F (uppercases): change drive.
- u Toggles to sub-directories indicated by arrows on no.
- F1: Display these commands.
The mouse use is intuitive: Click where you want to go.
Click on a name to select it.
Click on a sub-directory to display it and click again to
do a CD and exit.
Click twice on a program name to go to its directory and run it.
Click at left, right, over, under the displayed list to change
move to this direction.
